Symptoms

You have integrated Bamboo with JIRA and when trying to add Bamboo gadgets in JIRA, the contents are blank as per the screenshot below:

Blocked gadgets in chrome:

The same gadgets are not blocked in Firefox:

Cause

Certain browsers such as Chrome have strict security restrictions. That's why the contents from other applications with mixed security will be blocked. In the example above, JIRA runs on https and Bamboo on http, and as a result, the Bamboo gadgets are blocked by the browser.

Resolution

You can either ensure that both applications have same security mode or follow the chrome documentation to lower the security to allow pages show insecure content.
