Our Approach

We use a five-step flexible approach to understand requirements and provide complete cost effective solutions based on customer's needs.

  1. Functional Requirements workshops
    The objective of these workshops is to clarify business requirements and discuss workaround options. At the completion of the workshop Red Wahoo will create/amend specifications to reflect agreed solutions. The customer will be asked to sign off the specification and all subsequent configurations will be made according to the agreed revised specification.
  2. Develop Solution
    Red Wahoo will complete software configuration according to the agreed specification. During this period Red Wahoo will configure the Atlassian product, and complete unit and integration testing.
  3. Acceptance Testing
    During this period the Customer will complete acceptance testing of the delivered solution. Red Wahoo will provide onsite assistance during this period depending on the specification.
  4. End User Training
    Red Wahoo has training packages depending on the proficiency of the customer in Atlassian products. Training packages will be specifically aimed at the end user and administrator and can be customised based on requirements.
  5. After Sales Support

Sample Projects

GovDex
Red Wahoo conceived, built, deployed and provide the ongoing support of GovDex which is a highly complex collaborative space for Australian Federal Government agencies to share information. GovDex uses Atlassian's Confluence and JIRA in addition to Red Wahoo's custom built registry services and currently supports in excess of 2500 users. In addition to support services, Red Wahoo also offers ongoing training services to GovDex users. During the coming year, in conjunction with significant upgrades to be provided by Red Wahoo, GovDex is anticipated to expand to many more thousands of users.

Victorian Managed Insurance Authority - VMIA
The VMIA selected Confluence as the basis for their internal intranet. Red Wahoo was engaged to customise Confluence for VMIA and integrate it with their Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure. Having completed the customisation and considerable end user and administrator training, Red Wahoo was awarded a long term contract to provide ongoing end user and Confluence Administration support to VMIA through Red Wahoo's ITIL compliant service desk.

Metropolitan Ambulance Service - MAS
The Victorian MAS selected Red Wahoo to customise their JIRA platform to suit complex workflows and issue management procedures.  Red Wahoo conducted a number of user workshops to gather and clarify requirements; then built, tested and deployed the customised solution.

A Sydney University
A Sydney University selected Atlassian Confluence to allow research fellows to collaborate across disciplines. Red Wahoo was engaged to customise Confluence site look and feel to meet customer requirements and implement an SSO capability.
