Myself and the rest of the Gliffy team would like to invite AtlasCamp attendees to a round of golf at the Half Moon Bay Golf Links Monday morning before Atlas Camp kicks off:
http://www.halfmoonbaygolf.com/
The course is right on the ocean, and it's really pretty. There is a dress code, so please be sure to wear long pants and some sort of shirt with buttons on it. :)
We can rent clubs for anyone who needs them, and don't worry if you're not good, because I'm terrible myself!
Cost will be somewhere around $175/person.... we're going to see if we can get a group discount though. We need to book the spaces in advance, so please let me know if you are interested no later than September 24th by signing up on this page.
Hope to see you there!

Nice one Chris. Myself I'm looking forward to a few pints of really good English beer at that pub round the corner from the hotel. Best I've ever tasted outside the UK. Come and drink something warm with me!

English beer? That always been a euphamism for warm and flat where I come from...

Half Moon Brewing, just a walk around the corner from where AtlasCamp happens.

Anyone interested in giving / hearing a security related talk? (Do's, Don'ts, How-to-expoit's)

If you're talking about Tomcat and server-level security, then I'd be interested. Our suite is behind a firewall, but we have a reverse proxy that allows employees to get to the apps. So it's definitely an area where we need to keep up with best practices.
If you're talking about Application-level security (how to do project permissions and stuff), then I'd be less interested. I think we have that area pretty well covered.

I think the idea is more for plugin devs – how can a plugin dev make sure that the plugins they write are secure from standard web-based attacks (XSS, XSRF, etc).

Gotcha. Definitely interested then.

Looks like Penny Wyatt's talk on "Securing your Plugin" is going to be good!

Active Objects looks interesting. Data storage has always been a tricky problem for more complex plugins.

I'm really impressed by the list of talks. I usually contact people who are going to give talks with titles that interest me, but in this case there were so many I decided to just wait until the meetings.

American Football on Oct 10th
Both NFL Teams the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Raiders have home games on Oct 10th
San Francisco 49ers - Philadelphia Eagles at Candlestick Park at 5:20 pm
Oakland Raiders - San Diego Chargers at Oakland Coliseum at 1:15 pm
I will arrive in San Francisco a few days early since the flight was a lot cheaper, and want to use the opportunity to see a NFL game.
Tickets for both games are still available from 90 USD (really good tickets around 160 USD). Oakland Coliseum seems to be easily reachable by BART (public transport)
Does anybody want to join me?

Wow...sounds like fun, but will have to ask the spouse if we can afford it. :(
