Program Details

IntelliObjects is sponsoring an Atlassian User Group. This event is open to anyone interested in Atlassian JIRA or Atlassian Confluence.

Many companies around the world are migrating towards agile processes and extreme programming practices in software development. At this event, we'll be discussing exactly how various companies in that agile environment use JIRA and Confluence to support their development goals. We'll also be chatting about Atlassian road maps, the Atlassian Developer Network, plugins, and more.

The overall agenda includes:

  • Discussions on how developers and organisations are using JIRA and Confluence to gain an edge in their agile development practices
  • An overview and demo of GreenPepper Software, an Agile testing tool built upon JIRA and Confluence that supports project and product management as well as the collaborative creation of specification, acceptance and story tests
  • Tips and insights into creating quick and successful JIRA and Confluence plugins
  • Information and updates on the Atlassian Developer Network, product roadmaps and plans for the future
  • An open discussion with the Atlassian community on topics you want to cover. Submit a topic here

Join us to network and socialize with peers, developers, and other folks with shared interests, including members of the Atlassian team and the good people at IntelliObjects.

Nope, this event is free to all those interested. Bring along a coworker or anyone interested in Atlassian and/or Agile development. We do ask you to please RSVP above so we have an idea of who and how many will be attending. Because it's during dinner time, food and drinks will be served.

I was unaware of this usergroup and since it's next Tuesday am not likely to make it.

    Any way to attend remotely?

Any repeat or posting of info on the Agile topic? We are moving to an agile methodology and I would love to get more information.

We're not planning to webcast the event, however I'll see if someone can record different parts as a podcast. You probably won't want a 3 hour podcast, so we'd need to edit it. No promises, but we'll see what we can do!

Apologies for the delay in responding - we were heads down in preparing for the event! While the user group was a tremendous success, we were unable to record it via audio or video. We'll be posting some materials from the event shortly and we're here to answer any questions you might have in the mean time.

For the next event, we will definitely include an audio recorder and will likely provide a webcast as well.

Thanks to everyone who made this a success!

Chris - thanks for your comments and for attending the event! We very much enjoyed meeting our MD/VA/DC customer base and we're excited about the response to this event.

Once the group has settled down, we'll begin posting some of the materials.

      Thanks again!

I just went through the presentations online. Unfortunately they don't have any of the mouth-watering agile+conf+jira material I was hoping for. It would be great if that could get posted too!
