We will create a page for your new group listed under Join an AUG. Get SupportFunding for each user group event starting at USD $250. We will reimburse you based on how many attendees come to your user group. You must prove the number of attendees at your event with a list of emails. To get reimbursed, complete this form. Swag shipped to you prior to each event. This includes small miscellaneous Atlassian branded items to give out to attendees. You must request the swag order in time for us to ship it out. Requirements
- Leaders must provide rosters. Email addresses of all user group attendees per event must be submitted to aug@atlassian.com in order to get reimbursed and receive the above benefits.
- Must have an Atlassian approved website. Current event information must be actively updated and linked to its Confluence page. All user group pages are listed in this space. If you do not see your AUG please email aug@atlassian.com.
- The leader must be a customer or user. Partners are not allowed to organize AUGs. If you are an Atlassian Partner, learn how you can provide sponsorship.
- No sales pitches. The main goal of AUGs is for users to get together and learn from one another - talking about products and usage is encouraged, but smarmy sales pitches are not permitted.
- Not for profit. Admission is free to all events. Organizers cannot make a profit.
- Groups must be ongoing. The most successful groups meet regularly to build membership and community.
Guidelines
We hope our community members will keep these points in mind so the po-po's don't get called.
- Hand off your AUG appropriately. If you're moving, changing companies or need to pass the group's organization over to a non-partner, Atlassian will help.
- Do not close your event to anyone, unless your venue has a maximum capacity.
- Participate constructively and listen to group members' feedback.
