Symptoms

Bamboo reports the following message during the server installation:

Cause

Bamboo is not able to locate a Sun JDK.

Resolution

Ensure that JAVA_HOME is pointing to a Sun JDK. Sometimes the problem happens when using a correct configuration for JDK 1.5. Some customers reported that upgrading to JDK 1.6 fixed the problem.
