The breadcrumbs of a page display its location in the content hierarchy of Confluence. They trace the path from the current page back to the dashboard allowing easy navigation up and down the page hierarchy. The breadcrumbs are displayed at the top of every page. If you glance up at the breadcrumbs region of this page, above the title, you will see that it reads: Dashboard > Confluence Documentation Research > Working with page families > Breadcrumbs This means that this page is a child of 'Working with page families' which in turn is a part of the space 'Confluence Documentation Research'.
