Displaying an image from either a remote source or from an attached file is easy.
To display an image from a remote source,
You need to know the url from which the image can be linked.
| What you need to type | What you will get |
|---|---|
| !http://www.atlassian.com/images/confluence_feature.gif! | ![]() |
To display an image from an attached file,
You need to attach your image file to the page to be able to display it.
| What you need to type | What you will get |
|---|---|
!fish.gif! |
![]() |
Once you attach a file, you can insert a link to it by clicking the 'Insert Image' link located above the text-box in the 'Edit' mode of the page. This will bring up a pop-up window that allows you to select the image.
| Warning Confluence will only allow you to attach a file when you have already created a page. |
