To link to a news item, you need to know the title of the news item as well as the date on which it was created.
Convert the date into the format: year/month/day.
You can then create a link to the news item, like this:
| What you need to type | What you will get |
|---|---|
| [/2005/08/26/Sample News] | Sample News |
Where:
'/2005/08/26' is the date the news item was published.
'Sample News' is the title of the news item.
You can also link to a whole day's news items, just by leaving out the news item's title at the end of the link.
| Note Linking to a news item that has not been created yet will not result in a link; news items are very tightly bound to the time at which they were created, and thus it makes no sense to link to them before they exist. |
