Managing Undefined Pages

In Confluence, you can create links to pages that do not as yet exist. This is a useful facility as it allows you to create links first and enter content for those pages later. These links lead to undefined pages and are indicated with this sign to remind you that those pages need to be created.

For example, Link to new page

Because you may be working with a large number of pages each with a number of links, this view gives a consolidated report of all the undefined pages so you can manage your space better.

To view the undefined links in a space,

  1. Click on the 'Browse Space' link for the space.

  2. Go to the 'Advanced' tab and click on 'Undefined Links' from the left panel. This will display a list of all the undefined pages in the space.

    Click on the 'Add Page' icon beside a page to add content.
