To remove a group,

Go to the Confluence 'Administration Console'. To do this:
- Open the 'Browse' menu and select 'Confluence Admin'. The 'Administration Console' view will open.
- Select 'Manage Groups' in the left panel. A list of all existing groups is displayed along with links to remove them.
- Click 'Remove' beside the group you want to remove. You will need to confirm your action before the group is deleted.
