In order to distinguish external links, user links and email links in wiki content, the Confluence Administrator can configure Confluence to show a small icon in the top right-hand corner of each link.
To show link icons,
- From the 'Administration Console', click 'General Configuration' under the heading 'Configuration' in the left-hand panel.
- Click the 'Edit' button next to 'Formatting and International Settings'.
- Beside 'Show Link Icons', select 'On' to enable the feature. Select 'Off' to disable it.
- Click 'Save'.
