Confluence gives you the option of limiting the maximum size of a single file attachment. Site administrators should keep in mind that the amount of disk space used by Confluence is directly proportional to the number and size of attachments put into the system.
To configure the maximum size of an attachment,
- Go to the 'Administration Console' and click on 'General Configuration' in the left panel.
- Click 'Edit' at the bottom of the 'Options and Settings' screen.
- Beside 'Attachment Maximum Size', enter the maximum size. The default is 10 mb.
- 'Save' your changes.
