Display an older version of a page

To point users to an outdated version of a page:

View the page and click the "view change" link displayed after the "last edited by" information.
In the box on the left-hand side of the "compared to", click on the "Version ## by Username" to show the full outdated version.
Click "<< View previous version" to scroll back through the outdated versions until you find the one you would like to link, and copy the URL from your address bar. This link is of the format http://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=12345

These links inform the users that what they are viewing is out of date and provide a link to the current edition.
