Search Confluence from within the Firefox 2 or IE 7 search widget.

You can get a handy OpenSearch descriptor from SearchPlugins.net to search this Confluence site.

You can view the source to see the settings to make one for your site.

Then you can have your users installing it automatically using Install Search Engine user macro.
