Data Freeway Configuration

Instructions

  1. Download and install DataFreeway.
  2. Add a new connection:
  3. Fill in the description: The most important setting here is 'Connection class: DAV - Distributed Authoring and Versioning system'
  4. Complete the connection settings: The most important settings here are:
    • Host or IP: Just the name/IP address of the Confluence server.
    • Port: Only include if your Confluence server is not on port 80.
    • User name: The Confluence user name you wish to access with. There is no special 'webdav' user.
    • Password: Optional - password will be requested at connection if not provided here.
    • Root directory: Must be 'webapp-path/plugins/servlet/webdav/' The 'webapp-path' is required if Confluence is not installed at the root directory (eg. '/confluence' or '/wiki').
  5. Close settings.
  6. Connect to the server.
