Mail Page Plugin

The mail page option was working fine and all of a sudden now when I click on Mail Page, I get a blank page. I neither get any error on the page nor in the logs. Any idea why this is happening.

I have installed/uninstalled lot of plugin, not sure if this is the cause for this problem

I'm using the mail page plugin to post out a newsletter. I wanted to change the default preamble text and fonts. Can anyone tell me

1. What to edit?
2. Will this impact anthing else?

I was looking at the "Compatibility With Confluence" table above, and noticed that 2.5.7 was not included with a Tick.... does this mean that this Mail Plugin is not compatible with 2.5.7?

We have 2.5.7 but the mail plugin does not seem to be sending mails when using the plugin. (Other notification and test mails work, just not with the plugin).

We also experienced the same issue as this: http://developer.atlassian.com/jira/browse/EMLPAGE-2 ("Find Users" and "Find Groups" pop-up do not function in the Internet Explorer browser)

 Does anybody know if this plugin can generate a warning before the information is turned it. For instance, "Are you sure you want to send this email?" type of warning.    

Is version 1.3 compatible with Confluence v2.5.4?

Is 1.5 just a new build to support Confluence 2.8? Or are there other differences from 1.3?

In Lotus Notes 6.5, the wiki Notes text shows up in the email, but without formatting. If we enter text on 3 lines, for example, using the enter key to separate lines, the email shows all of the text in the Notes section on a single line. I tested using html formatting, and used the <br> tag in between each line, but the Notes text displays the <br> instead of rendering it. Has anyone seen this problem?

What would be a nice feature/macro is to be able to have an email be sent out to users/groups, etc, when a page is first created.  The macro could automatically include the title of the page in the subject line and who created it, like:

Subject:  Page "A new page" Created by John Smith

 
Although in the macro you could override this.  Also, the body could, by default, say:  "John Smith has just created a new page 'A new page' in the Cool space.  To view this page, go to:  http://confluence.corp.com/....".  Again, in the macro you can override this.  The macro also includes who the recipients of the email are.  The from email address should be the poster's email address.  You could also have a format parameter, defaulting to html.

This way, if I have a really important posting, I can have it emailed out to users immediately.  (This would only run on the original posting, not on any comments/edits.)

Then, for a particular space, I could create an "Instant Email Template," that would include this macro in the page and preconfigure it to send the email to a recipient list.  So if I had an HR space and an Instant Email Template for HR, the email would go out to everyone in HR automatically
