Description/Features
See a list of the current watchers of a page, add and remove them.
Usage
The plugin adds a new "Watch List"-Tab.
There are three panels on the watch list site:
- On the top one you see if you are currently watching the page, and you can quickly switch your notification status.
- The left panel shows a list of the current watchers.
- The right panel allows you to add new watchers.
You can remove current watchers by checking the boxes right of them and pushing the "Remove"-Button. The top checkbox can be used to select/deselect all watchers at once.
To add new watchers you can write their user names into the input field and press the "Add"-Button. Multiple users can be added at once (comma separated).
If you don't know the user names you can search for existing users via the magnifiying glass. The selected users will then be inserted into the text field.

1. I don't know if I used any features not availably until 2.6. Just try it.
2. I also thought of something like this. But who should have these rights? Only admins? Just the creator of a page? This wouldn't be enough. Because everyone should be able to point someone else to a certain page by putting him an the watch list.
So I don't plan to implement security, but feel free to do it yourself. May the source be with you

Would be great if you could consider adding security in the future though (my coding is extremely rusty). For one thing there's the issue of letting anyone add or remove watchers, which in my situation wouldn't go down well (for instance, I don't want some joker to be able to add the CEO to the watch list). There's also the extra clutter of another tab on the screen. For power users this is fine, but we use Confluence primarily as an intranet and I want to keep the look and feel as simple as possible.

In my environment, I can see Project Managers wanting to sign people up automatically (we're still breaking out of email heck...)
BTW, I'd probably vote to have this functionality limited to space admins, but that's just me
Thanks!

I realize that you haven't tested against 2.8. It works in 2.8 with the Confluence classic theme and the left navigation theme, but not with the default theme or the Clickr theme. If you could get it working with the default theme in 2.8 I'd love to use this plugin.

Any chance you could get this working with the default theme in Confluence 2.8? I'd really, really like to start using this plugin but don't want to change my theme in order to do so.
Thanks!

That the plugin content isn't shown with the Clickr theme is a bug on the Clickr side. I've opened an issue: http://developer.atlassian.com/jira/browse/CLKR-16

When I click the add button to add a watcher, it redirects to the following URL http://www.something.com/pages/addwatchers.action , whereas it should go to http://www.something.com/confluence/pages/addwatchers.action\\
Is this just a configuration issue that I don't know about? I checked the confluence global settings and we do have the base URL set up correctly
Thanks
