Microsoft Windows
Typical Usages (WebFolders)
Browsing

- After a successful authentication, you will be able to see the two directories, as shown in the screen shot above.
- The Global directory will contain directories which represent Confluence global spaces.
- The Personal directory will contain directories representing personal spaces.
Creating A New Page
|
|
|
There are two ways you can create pages (when you're in a directory representing either a space or a page).
- Right click and choose New Folder. Then, give a name to the new page (as shown in the picture on the left).
- Drag and drop an existing directory in your computer to the desired location in WebFolders (as shown in the picture on the right).
Renaming A Page

- Right click on a directory representing a page.
- Enter the desired name and hit the Enter key.
Upload/Remove Attachment
- Browse to the page which will contain the attachment.
- Drag and drop a file in your computer to the page.
Update Page Contents
- When you're in a page directory, drag the file, <Page title>.txt to your computer. For instance, if you're in the page "My Confluence Page", you should drag "My Confluence Page.txt" to your computer.
- Use your preferred text editor to change the content of text file you just dragged to your computer.
- Drag the edited file to the page directory in WebFolders.
Deleting A Page

- Right click on the targetted page and click Delete.
- Click Yes when prompted for confirmation.
Typical Usages (Network Drive)
- The usage scenarios are very similar to those described in the typical usages with WebFolders section. With network drive, you can assume that you're interacting with a typical network share.
