The Token Seed is a unique key for each site deployment of Crowd. This key is used when generating tokens for an authenticated application.
To specify the Token Seed,
- Login to the Crowd Administration Console.
- Click the 'Options' link in the top navigation bar.
- Click the 'General' tab.
- You can either:
- Type the new key into the 'Token Seed' field, then click the 'Update' button;
OR - Click the 'Generate' button to automatically create a random key.
