This page is relevant if you have installed Crowd as a Windows service

To remove the Crowd Windows service:

  1. Open a DOS prompt.
  2. 'cd' to your Crowd directory, and then the Tomcat bin subdirectory, e.g. {CROWD_INSTALL}\apache-tomcat-5.5.20\bin
  3. Run one of the following commands:
    • Either: 
      service.bat remove Crowd
    • Or if the above does not work, use 
      tomcat5 //DS//Crowd
