My Fedex 8 project was all about UI, JavaScript and JQuery: I integrated sliders to easily configure the recently updated macro, and to collapse and fade out comments based on their age and quality.
Ideally you should watch Chris Broadfoots FedEx 8 - Confluence karma project screencast first, which introduces quality-moderating comments, and which I use for the third example of my sliders.
