Archive Space Charles Miller

You've been using Confluence to help manage a project, and now the project is over. Ideally, you should now be able to 'archive' the space so it disappears from the various space lists, and is no longer reachable from the default quicksearch.

Archived spaces would not be editable.

There would be an "archived spaces" page to view all archived spaces, and a non-default option to include archives in your searches.

Say – did this make it into Jira as a feature request?

I like the idea a lot and would vote for it. (smile)

I also like this idea. We are doing something similar (though not as eligant) where we have a private archive page that the archived pages get attached to.

Has this been done? It seems like a great feature. Something I would like in Jira as well.

Has this been done?  This idea is a bit old, we really need this.

No this hasn't. You might want to watch or vote CONF-3921 to keep track of where this is at.
