I would like to achieve the following with Confluence...
1.1 Flexible Content Group Management (administrator-level function)
- Description: Users can create "content groups" containing different files and/or folders based on different criteria like file type, file size, author, customer name and other metadata. This function is mainly used together with 3.11 User/Group Management to enable 3.12 Access Control. See the graph below for details.
- In this graph each can and cube represents a file or folder. Each rectangle represents a "content group". For example, Group A will be all confidential files; Group B will be all Customer ABC related files. Administrator will be able to create content groups in their own-discretions.
- Content Groups may have overlapping; for example, content number 10 is contained by both Group C and Group D.
- Content Group may contain other groups. Group A contains Group E.
- Use case:
- Some typical examples will be
- Administrator might create a content group to contain all TCO analysis files
- Administrator might create a content group to contain all Customer ABC related files
