Converting FAQ
Convert from a particular format into Confluence wiki format.
Conversion from a complex document format with a myriad of formatting and text layout possibilities into a simpler formatting language like wiki does lead to a simpler looking document.
Nevertheless if the text and its main layout structure can be preserved document conversion has its merits.
Reasons to use it might be:
- accessibility: not all visitors of the web site might have a reader for the document type. Providing the content in wiki format makes it accessible to everyone
- wiki setup: alternatives like conversion plugins might not be available with the wiki of the user
