Personal User Page

  • Personal user page - It would be nice if each user had his own page or set of pages to jot down stuff. Maybe the Dashboard itself could be an editable page (by the current user) in a virtual "User" space? Or Maybe each user would even have a personal space where he can keep any number of personal pages (think PersonalWiki). But that might just be overkill .
    • CHARLES Your "personal information" section of your profile is fully-fledged wiki content. For example, see my user profile. It's also indexed in the site-search:
    • (Giving each user a personal Space is also on the drawing-board, but with 1.0 looming, I'm not sure it'll make the cut. Combined with the blogging features that are being put in now, that'll mean each user has their own weblog, too. )

    I note that admins cannot edit user's profile page. I suppose this is by design, but I think this would be a handy option depending on the site.
