Case sensitivity issues

All versions of Confluence 2.3 require a patch in order to work with Sybase. This is downloadable from http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-7925.

    Confluence in it's current state will not function with a Sybase db, due to Sybase being case sensitive.  We are currently using Sybase 12 and all throughout Confluence's code, it references columns by both lower and upper case.  It should not be referencing columns in all caps.

    Using Sybase (Adaptive Server Enterprise/12.5.4) and Confluence 2.9/2.10, we experience this issue (which will not be fixed).  So it probably fits the "Known Issues for Sybase" and can be added to this page's contents.
