Viewing page restrictions in View mode

When a page you are viewing has restrictions applied, a small padlock icon appears next to the page byline. Clicking the padlock will open the Page Restrictions dialog, where full details on the page restrictions are displayed.See Setting a Page's Restrictions for instructions on how to change these.

Viewing page restrictions in Edit mode

You can view a page's restrictions when editing the page. You can only edit the page if you have permissions to do so.

    Is there a way to view a page's restrictions in relation to the gobal/space permissions? For example, when I click Tools->Restrictions in a space that has a group restriction (i.e. only a specific group can view/edit this space), it displays "No view restrictions are defined for this page. No edit restrictions are defined for this page." There are clearly space permissions that allow only a group to view the pages, but that's not represented in this box.

    Has this feature been requested? I don't have a login, so I can't check. It's confusing to see a page that has says it has no restrictions set, when it actually does.

    Is there a macro that let's you integrate information about a page's restrictions within that page?
