Doc Sprint November 2011

On 8th and 9th November the Atlassian technical writers and thirteendevelopers combined forces in a doc sprint. The aim? To develop plugin tutorials that will help people use the upcoming JIRA 5.0 Java APIs. The result is 11 shiny new tutorials and plenty of updates to existing pages.

Doc Sprint November 2010

The sprinters were Atlassians, partners, community developers and people who use our products. The target was user-focused quick start guides. We ran the doc sprint concurrently in Sydney and San Francisco on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th November. There were also a number of people working remotely, as far flung as Israel and Moscow. As you can imagine, the word “concurrently” is a bit fuzzy, with all those time zones involved!
