Attached are a few issue icons from me (Neal). To install download the icons and place them in the directory /atlassian-jira/images/icons/
Then, you can associate them with issue types or statuses by specifying the new Icon URL in JIRA Administration.

I also use these for priorities 'cuz I like them (the highest priority is a flashing siren, and the '1' is animated flaming).
They are not all 16x16 so for the Firefox dropdown they appear rather large. But otherwise, they work fine. (They re-size correctly elsewhere in JIRA).

I have an issue type called "Client Acceptance Testing", and after having placed this icon in my images/icons folder, I can specify this icon to be used for this issue type ( specifying the path in the "Icon URL:" field).

, and attached the icon, but unfortunately, the cat is hiding, only a void frame is seen. I compared the cat with other icons, it was 16x15, I suspected about the resolution (although a very low probability), and I modified it as 16x16, but helas! The path is correct, changing the icon to another one, probleme goes off, returning back the the cat icon, again hide and seek...
Thanks for any furhter comment.

Where you get the picture holder (void frame), right click on it and copy the link location (or properties, in I.E.) and paste that path into your browser. Does it resolve directly from a browser address? I suspect not. Now compare that path to the path for your other icons? Is it the same or different. If it's different, that's a problem. If it's the same, it's probably the way your app server is set up. I found that on standalone/Tomcat it worked fine right away, but on my live application which is using Weblogic, I had to re-deploy and/or put the icon in the right place (staging area) to get it to show up. Only after an app server restart did new icons appear.

I created a Requirement type issue to track the market requirements in a project that need to be implemented.I'm just not the creative type - can't think of anything catchy, just an icon with the letter "R" in it (...boring...).

However, if you look at the attachments link you'll see I added some additional Task gifs to the one I originally posted. Maybe you'll like one of them.
