Latest

www.softwaretesting.de have developed a plugin to access JIRA from within the Eclipse IDE.

Download links and installation instructions are here: www.softwaretesting.de/article/view/88/1/11/

Features

The plugin supports the most important JIRA features. The user can search for issues using a dialog very similar to the JIRA filter dialog. Queries can also be saved and executed again later.

The issue list is a standard Eclipse view, so that it can be arranged and used just as any other Eclipse view. There is also a new Eclipse perspective showing only the issue and the search view.

Issues can also be resolved, closed, commented etc. from within Eclipse.

The Roadmap

We are currently collecting improvements and requests for new features. Here is the issue list as planned for the next release 1.1 (please add your own issues too):

Is this now a dead product ? No updates have been done for over a year and it does not work with current Jira releases - any other (current) Eclipse IDE integrations out there ?

    Thanks
