It will be used later.
When everithing configured, press "Ok" button to save configuration.
Find the Issue to track time
Hitsoft TimeTracker is the Tray application, so to access it you will need to move your mouse over the Hitsoft TimeTracker icon in the Tray. It will start "annoying" you with hint that you are working, but not tracking time. You have several options how to choose the Issue you are working on.
1. Create New Issue and start tracking time for it
To do so, you need to mouse over the Hitsoft TimeTracker tray icon and press
"New Issue" button, or choose the "New Issue" menu item from PopUp menu.

Fill Issue fields and press "Create & Start" button. Issue will be created in the JIRA and you will start tracking time on it.
2. Find Issue in JIRA
To do that you need to use the
"Find" button. Search dialog will be opened.

Type some words that will be searched through the JIRA Issues. You may reduce the number of Issues if you will specify the key of the Project first. Like "JIRAEXT something" that query will find all issues in the project with key JIRAEXT having word "something" in it. When you found the Issue, press the "Start" button. It will stop your current Issue and will start tracking time on new one.
3. Choose the Issue you worked nearly
To do that you will need to open the History frame, using the
"Open/Close History" button.

Tray window will be expanded with the list of issues you worked on before. You may choose from it and press "Start" button in the lower right corner.
4. Choose the Issue from your favourite Filter
Use the same
"Open/Close History" button, but choose another Tab "Filter" instead of "History".
Track your time
Once you have some Issue selected and it is showing when you moving your mouse over the Tray Icon for Hitsoft TimeTracker, you may use
"Start",
"Stop",
"Resolve" and
"Add Time" buttons to operate the tracking procedures.

And now we decide to share it with others. We are thinking of making it available for MacOS and Unix users somewhen, but afraid it will not be in our nearest plans. But if someone will donate us some money for such work as porting the tool to MacOS, it could dramatically change our plans of couse. Meanwile you can try to run it in Wine, but we did not check it ourselves yet.

According to your feature request. Do you mean that issue should stay in "In Progress" state when you stop track time on it? When do you suppose it should return from the "In Progress" state then? Could you please describe desired behaviour more detailed?
And not, we are not planning to open sources yet.

2) I am getting many errors while using this tool either during login or while switching the issue. Could you please figure this out?

This will eliminate the time required to search issue in Jira each time work priority changes.
2) Also the History/Filter option in this tool does not show any information and gives rpc exception that "issue does not exist".Could you please try top figure out the problem? Is there is any document describing functionalities and software prerequisites for this tool?
3) Is it possible to let user specify the interval for alert which can be used for giving alerts to user if there is no change in activity during this interval?

However, you can create a list of favourite filters in Jira. Then, at the right time to select the desired filter
2)In fact there is only this site and https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/6998 , but as such a document does not exist.
Also want to set the favourite filters in JIra.
* Open a Jira in a browser
* Select the tab "Home"
* Favourite Filters - Create New
* Make the filter public
3)This opportunity yet. However, we are going to expand the functionality in this area.

This looks great tool, but I have a trouble on using it.
We have following basic workflow: Open -> In Progress -> Resolved -> Testing -> Waits Customer Approval -> Closed
When I have an issue in Resolved state and I stop time tracking issue jumps to Open state. Why?
I like to just add spent time with this tool and it tries to be too smart for me - can you help me?

We are testing it, but the worklog isn't sent to JIRA. I don't know the way that the worklog is sent. I wonder it is automatically maybe when you stop tracking a issue because I have not found any specific button. If the tool works in this way, I think the problem is that it is not compatible with our Jira version (3.13.4), isn't it?

It is working with JIRA using it's SOAP RPC. Worklogs should be automatically sent to JIRA once the issue is stopped. Do not think that 3.13.4 changed it's SOAP RPC so much. Do you have enough rights to post worklogs to issues manually? If yes, then TimeTracker should be able to do it also. Please check if your instance of JIRA configured to work with worklogs and your users have enough rights for that.
