Thanks for providing this! I already have applinks-client-1.0.1.jar in my JIRA installation - is this still necessary? Will it interfere with the new support?
To answer my own question: it is not needed if you are at 2.1 of the Fisheye plugin - see FISH-188

Whenever a customer asks me how to link two instances of JIRA together and I say "URLs in the comments or in a custom field", I keep wishing that I could use applinks to add references to another JIRA instance from JIRA. Has anyone considered this usage inside Atlassian?
