Features
JIRA MultiSite applies WANdisco's active-active replication technology to turn a JIRA central server implementation into a distributed, enterprise ready application lifecycle management solution. Main features are:
- Resolves WAN performance issues between sites to deliver LAN-speed performance over a WAN for both read and write operations.
- Balances workload across servers at multiple locations.
- Has no single point of failure whatsoever. JIRA MultiSite's approach is truly shared nothing. There is no sharing of disk, CPU, or memory between servers with JIRA MultiSite.
- Provides failover and automated disaster recovery over a WAN to insure business continuity, without any reliance on third party disk mirroring solutions.
