JavaScript Rendered when Selecting a Calendar Date in IE 6
IE 6 is no longer compatible with JIRA as of version 4.2.
Symptoms
In Internet Explorer 6, the contents of the date field is text starting with "function(R){return", rather than the selected date.
Cause
IE6 is using an old version of jscript.dll. jscript.dll is the JavaScript interpreter used by Internet Explorer. It lives in <windows install directory>\system32
. You can find out what version of jscript.dll you have installed by right-clicking on it in File Explorer, then selecting the version tab.
Resolution
Upgrade your version of jscript.dll to version 5.6.x or later.
