To change your JIRA Studio 'From' Email Header Format,

  1. Click the 'Administration' link in the top right of the JIRA Studio header. You will need to be logged in as an administrator to see this link.
  2. The JIRA administration menu will be displayed at the left of the screen. Click the 'Studio Administration' link in the 'JIRA Studio' menu.
  3. The 'Studio Administration' page will display. Click the 'change' link next to the account name.
  4. Your account settings will show on the 'Edit JIRA Configuration' page that displays (see screenshot below).
  5. Update the desired fields and click the 'Update' button to change your account settings.
  • To change your 'JIRA Studio 'From' Email Header Format', you will need to update the 'Email from:' field to your desired email header. This will set the 'JIRA Studio 'From' Email Header Format' in notification emails. You can use the following variables in your email header: 
    ${fullname}, ${email}, ${email.hostname}

    For example, setting the header format to: 

    ${fullname} (JIRA)
    would result in notification emails with headers like this one: From: John Doe (JIRA) <jira@company.com>

Please note that this field only sets the 'From' Email Header, not the email address itself.
