To change your JIRA Studio Welcome Message,

  1. Click the menu labelled with your user name in the the JIRA Studio header, and select the 'Administration' link. You will need to be logged in as an administrator to see this link.

  2. The JIRA administration menu will be displayed at the left of the screen. Click the 'Studio Administration' link in the 'JIRA Studio' menu.
  3. The 'Studio Administration' page will display. Click the 'change' link next to the account name.
  4. Your account settings will show on the 'Edit JIRA Configuration' page that displays (see screenshot below).
  5. Update the 'Introduction' field to your desired welcome message. This message will display on the Issues dashboard.
    You can use HTML in your welcome message, but it must be properly formatted (e.g. ensure all HTML tags are closed).
  6. Update the desired fields and click the 'Update' button to change your account settings.
