Gilad David Maayan is an Israeli technical writer and information architect. Over the past decade, Gilad has lead technical communication projects for over 50 companies including RAD, Amdocs, Check Point and Oracle. In 2006 he was honored for innovative information design at the STC Trans-European Technical Communications Competition, receiving the Award of Merit for the GigaSpaces Quick Start Guide.
Gilad developed the GigaSpaces Wiki Online Help, one of the first large-scale implementations of wiki for technical documentation, based on Atlassian Confluence (see a Case Study by Atlassian). He was invited to speak about the GigaSpaces wiki at the STC Israel Annual Convention 2007. Gilad is also the author of a PDF Documentation Generator for Confluence.
Gilad is today Content Architect at GigaSpaces Technologies and principal of WOH - Wiki Online Help Consulting. He holds a BA in Economics and Management from Tel Aviv University.
