Jira Service Desk teams generally connect each service desk project to an email address, so customers can create and comment on requests by email. There are a couple of ways to manage service desk email requests: 

  • Check out Configuring service desk notifications to learn about the types of notifications you can send to customers and whether those notifications are sent in HTML or plain text.
