Edit or disable existing patterns

Edit patterns

You can modify the existing patterns, but it's not recommended. If the pattern is lacking some information, it's safer to create a new one and use it in Discovery together with the existing ones. If you're editing an existing pattern anyway, make sure to also save it in an external location as updating Discovery will overwrite your changes with the default ones.

Disable patterns

To disable a pattern:

• Go to the Pattern tab, and deselect the pattern.

To disable a pattern for a specific scan:

• Go to the Scan settings tab, and select the patterns you don't want to use.
