These changes have recently been rolled out to Atlassian Cloud sites.

Changes with a are steadily rolling out and may not be on your site just yet.
Your cloud-hosted products are supported by the Atlassian Cloud platform. This section usually includes changes related to multiple Atlassian Cloud products, site administration, and user management.
Email users with suggested account changes
From the Change details button, you can suggest that a user changes their account details to make their profile more consistent and easier to identify. Read more about administering Atlassian accounts.
Give your users a Trusted permission
From a user's Permission options, select Trusted to give certain users more responsibility. These users will be able to install and configure new products on your site and invite new users themselves.
Changes in this section usually apply to all Jira products. We'll tell you in the change description if something is only for a specific Jira product.
Filter issues in your project's issues list
We've added a text filter above the issues list in your project to help you find the issue you're looking for more quickly. In a project, go to Issues and filters and add a search term in the filter field above the list of issues.
Searching for inactive users has been disabled
To respect and continue to improve our users' privacy, Jira Cloud is disabling the ability to search for inactive users in the API and the Jira issue view.
Render all raw wiki text user mentions using display names and account IDs
If you're not using the new Jira issue view, this changes how wiki text is displayed in places where we display raw wiki text, such as when editing descriptions and comments and in the Jira Portfolio UI.
Currently, user mentions in the wiki text view include user names. Because of profile visibility concerns, we can’t continue to show user names in the UI. For this reason we need to display these in a form that doesn't render the user name, and yet still identifies the user uniquely. This form uses an account ID, prefixed by the display name of the person (as viewable by the person viewing the page).

We're rolling out a new type of project known as next-gen. By default, any Jira Software licensed user can create their own next-gen project. These projects don't affect existing Jira projects, shared configurations, or your schemes. You can manage who's allowed to create next-gen projects with the new Create independent projects global permission. Read more about next-gen projects.
New issue view for Jira Software
Get a consistent view and edit experience with our new issue view for Jira Software. Click an issue to see its details, edit any field with a click, and add content with the quick-add buttons (under the issue summary). Take a look at the documentation for more info.

Customize how work flows in your next-gen projects
Control how your team's work flows in your next-gen project. You can define exactly how tasks move from to-do to completed by adding statuses along the way. Give people instruction of how work should progress by adding transitions or pathways between your statuses. And, power up your project's workflow by adding rules to automate repetitive actions you'd make when moving issues.
Try it out in your project settings. Go to Project settings > Request types. On your issue type settings, click the Edit workflow button.
New issue view for Jira Service Desk
The new issue view groups key actions and information in a logical way, making it easier for you to scan and update requests. Learn more about the new issue view.
Starred and recent queues
You can now select the star at the top right of a queue to mark it as one of your favorite queues. To easily access your starred and recently viewed queues, just select 'Starred and recent' in the global sidebar.
Breadcrumbs enabled in the help center article viewer
Breadcrumbs are now enabled in knowledge base articles. This breadcrumb trail allows your customers to keep track of their location within the knowledge base and to see how they reached the current page.
The preferred URL will change to make it clearer to your users which path was used to reach the current page.
Also, articles will now open in the same tab rather than a new tab.
Create request button feature now on knowledge base article pages
The create request button feature is now on knowledge base article pages, where the help center has request groups configured.

View analytics to get insights on how your site, spaces, and pages are performing and how active your team is in Confluence. Export reports of these insights to share with your team. You can read more about analytics on our docs site.

Solve permissions issues fast with admin key
Admin key gives site admins temporary access to restricted pages, so they can troubleshoot permissions issues. We log any restricted pages they view and notify the authors. You can read more about admin key on our docs site.

Blogs are getting the first round of editing improvements
If you've ever thought 'I wish it was easier to read blogs on mobile.... or on other devices', then this change is for you. Blogs are getting fixed-width layouts to improve readability across all devices. We're making a bunch of other updates to improve editing reliability and clean up your editing experience, so some macros may be temporarily unavailable while they're under maintenance. Teams have arrived in Confluence retrospectives!
Instead of having to individually add each member of your team to a retrospective, Confluence now lets you assign people to Teams, so you can bulk add everyone at once.
Use the retrospective template to see Teams in action. You can edit Teams through the retrospective-creation process, and add or edit other attendees for each retrospective you create.

Easily add page layouts in the new editor using the /layouts quick insert slash command.
Confluence Cloud recent pages drawer
We’ve made it easier to get to the pages you visited or worked with most recently. A new action has been added to the global sidebar that presents you with a list of your recent pages; interaction-specific tabs help you narrow the list based on your actions, like visited, edited, or saved as draft.
