Notes

  1. Confluence is tested with these versions of Internet Explorer in standards-compliant rendering mode, not compatibility mode. Enabling compatibility mode may cause problems because it emulates older, unsupported rendering modes.
  2. Internet Explorer 10 isn't supported for any JIRA Cloud application (JIRA Core, JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk).
Internet Explorer 10 in 'desktop' mode does support the drag-and-drop functionality, and the implementation of drag-and-drop in Confluence works as expected. The 'modern' mode of Internet Explorer 10 doesn't support drag-and-drop.

Confluence Cloud will be ending support for IE10 on 1 January 2017.

  3. The only Atlassian Cloud apps that support Microsoft Edge are the JIRA applications (JIRA Core, JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk).
  4. Chrome doesn't have WEBDAV / plugin support, so features like Edit in Word for attachments won't work. See CONF-23322 for more information.
  5. Confluence doesn't support editing in Mobile Safari on iOS devices (such as iPhone and iPad). See CONF-19523 for more information.
  6. Confluence doesn't support editing on Android devices.
