Use LDAP and ADFS with Atlassian’s cloud products

description

Find out how to use LDAP and ADFS in cloud.

You can use LDAP and ADFS with Atlassian’s cloud products. You’ll need two things to get started:

  1. A supported cloud identity provider

  2. A subscription to Atlassian Access

You can set up SAML single sign-on and automatic user provisioning for your organization with Atlassian Access. All of Atlassian's supported identity providers offer connectors to your on-premises LDAP directory or Active Directory server. All identity providers that follow the SAML protocol can be configured for SSO with Atlassian Access.

Atlassian provides official support for SAML SSO and user provisioning for the following cloud identity providers:

  • Okta

  • Azure AD

  • AD FS (Active Directory Federated Services ) (SSO only)

  • Google Cloud Identity

  • Onelogin

  • Idaptive (formerly Centrify) (SSO only)

Learn more about security best practices, including setting up SSO and provisioning for Atlassian's cloud products.

For custom user provisioning integrations, we’ve also publicly documented our SCIM API.
