How to install a specific version of the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant

Summary
When running the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) to migrate from Server to Cloud, sometimes you need to install a specific version of the addon, or Atlassian Support is asking you to downgrade the JCMA version.

This message applies to Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA).
- From Server to Cloud
Solution
- Uninstall the current version of Jira Cloud Migration Assistant.
- Navigate to ${JIRA_URL}/secure/admin/jira/views/SiteDarkFeatures!default.jspa
Add the following dark feature:
com.atlassian.jira.migration.skip.app.outdated.check
- Download the Jar file for the version you want to install by browsing to JCMA Version History.
- Navigate to General Configuration > Manage apps.
- Choose Upload app.
- Locate the file then click Upload.
- Wait for it to finish installing, and that's it.
