How to add users in HipChat Cloud?




To add users in HipChat Cloud, you need to log into HipChat in your web browser.  Then go to Group Admin > Users > Add, enter their details, and select their role. It is currently not possible to add users through other desktop or mobile clients.  

If you want to allow users to join and set up their own user accounts in your HipChat Cloud subscription, you can simply define one or more domains that allow users to join independently through domain-validated signup.

HipChat Cloud also allows managing users via Google Apps integration. It will look at your Google Apps directory and invite any new users, update anyone who has changes and delete people who leave – all automatically.
