How do you integrate Jira Service Desk with an existing website?
With Jira Service Desk Cloud, you can embed a widget onto a website for accepting requests and displaying linked Confluence knowledge base articles to customers. This widget, which requires configuration of a login-free portal, allows you to accept requests from anyone visiting your website.
To integrate Jira Service Desk with an existing website, here are few options:
- Link to your portal URL from your website, or configured your link to be a :mailto tag that emails the default email or configured email associated with your Jira Service Desk project.
- Integrate Jira Service Desk with a third party system with custom development. External systems can inquire and update Jira via our Jira Service Desk Server APIs. You could also build an interface app which runs inside Jira and updates your system.
