Jira Service Desk: Multilingual Support
Does Jira Service Desk support multiple languages?
Jira Service Desk Cloud has several languages that you can choose from out of the box that you can view on our Languages page. You can review instructions on setting the default language and translating resolutions, priorities, statuses, and issue types.
With Jira Service Desk Server, you can also choose the default language out of the box as outlined in choosing a default language. You can also choose to translate resolutions, priorities, statuses, and issue types. From Jira Service Desk Server 4.11 you can additionally translate request types (names, descriptions, fields and groups), portals (names and descriptions) and announcements.
With Jira Service Desk, you also have additional customizations available to you:
- Customize the notifications that go to your agents and customers by managing service desk notifications.
- Allow Jira Service Desk customers to set their language in the customer portal view.
- Add an Atlassian Marketplace app such as Translation for Jira Service Desk to your Jira Service Desk Server instance to translate your custom portal.
