Objective

Can I create sub-tasks in JIRA Service Desk?

Environment

Procedure

While subtasks aren't the one that customers can create, but you can enable sub-tasks for JIRA Service Desk projects and make subtasks on the backend.

You can use sub-tasks in JIRA Service Desk similarly to how you use them in other JIRA products, but just be aware that sub tasks and back-end only, and cannot be used to communicate with customers.
