Can I use Jira Service Management for external support?




Yes, you can use Jira Service Management for external support. 

 A lot of our marketing surrounds Jira Service Management as an internal tool for IT teams, and it was initially created for IT teams exclusively. It has grown since then and can allow various types of support teams. Traditional support, especially Business-to-Business external support, is certainly something Jira Service Management can handle.

You can serve existing customers, but locking a portal down to specific users, or you can let customers sign themselves up on your portal, with CAPCHA's and other tools to prevent spam.
