Does live chat come with Jira Service Management out of the box? Can I integrate live chat with Jira Service Management?




Live chat functionality does not come out of the box with Jira Service Management. If you're currently using a live chat tool, a Jira Service Management agent would have the option to create issues from chats on behalf of a customer.

You have the option to add an Atlassian Marketplace app that can add live chat functionality. View apps that are compatible with Jira as well as live chat apps that are compatible with Jira Service Management. Please ensure that any app you're interested in is compatible with your deployment option of Jira Service Management by ensuring that your preferred option is shown in the deployment drop-down menu of the app, or by further narrowing down the Marketplace app filter by deployment option.
